I looked into a mirror once, and found to my dismay, the person I was looking at was different yesterday. Where did her funny glasses go, the ones without a frame? I swear her hair was frizzy then, it wouldn't be so tame. The clothes that she is wearing are not the ones I bought. She never was at all demure though it wasn't trouble she sought. This strange new person that I saw, her humanity on a shelf, had an effort to know just who she was. Instead she lost herself.

InjuRy AleRt !!

yesterday, eskom deciided to cut our power off. from eight a.m. phoning every hour to see what's wrong, you could imagine we were a liitle mad. ii was doiing homework by candlelight.. (gotta admit though, it was pretty cool) after using up my laptop, my cellphone *sigh* and my ipod's battery i decided to finish reading my book, and i did. bored out of my mind, i started a charade's karaoke contest. i won, because i was the only one playing. then i got out my old piano music and finished "He's A Pirate" from Pirates of the Carribean. finally, at 9.40pm eskom had arrived. i ran outside to close the door so the dogs wouldn't run out. u just wish I realised myself that it was wet from the rain. i came out the door so fast that i slipped on the tiles and landed on the ground. (klutz at her best) my dad came and checked to see if my head was full of blood (luckily it wasn't) but my head was about two cm's away from a step. (yeah, that would've hurt) i was in such a shock i couldnt get up. i was cold, wet and in pain! i fell on my elbow and wrist and my ankle. today we went for x-rays. luckily nothing's broken but just a liiiitle crack by my elbow.. phew =]

Toilet Seat On eBay!!

*drumroll* Pub owner Chris Azerkane, England, was pretty excited that Camilla, Duchess of Corwll had isited her pub and used her toilet as the first public one in her life. Camilla had said, "I have never sat on a public loo in my life.I went in there straight afterwards and told everyone my derriere had been touched by royalty." But technically unless there is something Camilla's hiding, Azerkane's derriere was touched by a toilet seat. Obviously thinking this was her lucky day, she immediately took off the toilet seat to put it up on eBay.

Second Chance

What is a second chance? Type it into google, and you get over 55, 700, 000 results. (in 0.09 seconds) The first thing that comes up, is Second Chance Golf. The Second Chance is a movie, so there are lots of reviews. (it was a drama, written by a pastor) New website --www.secondchance.com is all about safety and security. Type it into wikipedia and all you get is music, musical, film, television and literature. Second Chance is a song by Shinedown.

To some people, getting a second chance, is getting another try at something. Putting your mind to something, for the second time. To others it's all about them. It is THEIR second chance after all. So what does it mean to you? What is a second chance? Because to me, it's much more then just getting another try. At it's not always about me. It's about everyone else. And it means much more to actually get one. When you get a second chance, sometimes it's hard to keep it that way. You can't screw everything up. Sooner or later, you need a second chance...

What is Parkour?
It is abbreviated PK and in French means the art of movement.
What's the aim?
Moving from one point to another as quickly as possible using the human body. It is meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment—from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls—and can be practiced in both rural and urban areas. It was founded by David Belle, and focuses on practising efficient movements to develop one's body and mind to be able to overcome obstacles in an emergency.
