Something that really made me angry was how much people are like this. Not saying that all Americans are, or that anyone else is, but just that a person could actually say something like this. (names changed) Some people dont understand that other people are less fortunate, and instead of caring, they just want to shove it down a person's throat. Even if we do come from a poor community, it doesnt mean we're less civilised as the next person.

[17:35:45] *ashley: you dont even know what an african is. you think that an african is a black person less fortuanate then yourself. but you dont get that the real reason youre helping, is because you stole everything from us. and we dont need your help, weve got enough people who REALLY care about us, and not doing it for some stupid school assignment. its called self-respect.

ReplyDeleteyeah. just because some people are less fortunate doesnt mean you should act like that. sure, some people do live on the streets, but we need people who WANT to help, not people who are forced to help, just because of a school assignment, and actually dont want to.
